Dom's Ice House is a locally owned and operated ice company that has been serving the entire Youngstown area since 1929. We have been at the same location on the East Side of Youngstown providing excellent quality and service for over 80 years.

Although Dom's Ice has been serving in the valley since the early 20th century, it has it's roots in the Youngstown Ice Company. Originally founded in 1883, The Youngstown Ice Company served the greater Youngstown area from their location where the Mahoning River meets Mill Creek. The photos to the left and right highlight some of the heritage that has been inherited by Dom's Ice House.

Around 1929 The Youngstown Ice Company became many smaller ice companies, and throughout the years Dom's Ice House has emerged as the only local ice company serving Youngstown area. It is also one of the longest continuously running businesses in this area. Eleven years ago Pete Salpietra and Mark Detesco, two born and raised Youngstown businessmen, purchased the ice house from the previous owners, adding their names to over 80 years of service and excellence that has become Dom's Ice Houses' legacy.
